Together with his wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba, Sir Idris established the Elba Hope Foundation, which focuses on community empowerment, education, youth advocacy, and sustainable development. In his response to the honor, he emphasized the importance of providing sustained support to young people and the collective responsibility to offer alternatives to violence.
