These everyday heroes, selected from a vast number of public nominations, were recognized at a prestigious ceremony in London co-hosted by Ashley Banjo and Carol Vorderman.

Emily Greenwood, acknowledged for her Outstanding Bravery, leaped into action on a Cornish beach to rescue a boy caught in a perilous riptide. Despite the freezing waters and strong currents, Emily successfully guided the imperiled individuals to safety, showcasing exceptional courage and quick thinking. Her heroic act earned her a Pride of Britain Award and a well-deserved Caribbean cruise.

Manny Singh Kang, recognized as the ITV Fundraiser of the Year, devised innovative fundraising strategies, including selling samosas outside a football club and undertaking marathons and cycles to support Dementia UK. His unwavering dedication raised a substantial sum for the charity, leading to a Caribbean cruise reward from P&O Cruises, where he relished quality time with his family amidst breathtaking island landscapes.
