Heartbroken parents are mourning the loss of their adventurous young child who tragically passed away unexpectedly while playing at their residence last week.
Hudson Martin, a resident of Knowle, Bristol, was just a few weeks shy of his third birthday when he suddenly collapsed and died on Thursday, January 8. His family revealed that Hudson had been diagnosed with Kawasaki disease at the tender age of seven months after exhibiting flu-like symptoms.
Despite the diagnosis, Hudson led a vibrant and joyful life. Described as a little daredevil by his father Damien Martin, Hudson enjoyed activities like climbing, dancing, and music, seemingly unaffected by his medical condition. While he faced challenges such as easy bruising and occasional nosebleeds due to his medication, he embraced life with enthusiasm.
Tragically, Hudson’s parents were faced with the responsibility of managing his medical needs at home, including administering injections and monitoring his blood levels. Despite their efforts, on that fateful day, Hudson sensed something was wrong and collapsed while trying to seek help.
Emergency services made valiant efforts to save Hudson’s life, but unfortunately, their attempts were unsuccessful. Hudson passed away at home, leaving behind his devastated parents and siblings.
