In a separate development, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned against European troops in Ukraine, labeling them a “legitimate target.” Lavrov also highlighted the need for Ukraine to make significant decisions about Donbas.
The UK reiterated its support for Ukraine, with PM Keir Starmer affirming commitment to achieving a just and lasting peace. Downing Street praised Trump’s involvement in peace negotiations.
