According to a police spokesperson, the incident occurred around 8:42 pm on Higher Road, Urmston, involving a firearms discharge. The area has been cordoned off, and additional patrols have been dispatched in the vicinity as investigations continue. An armed officer remains stationed at the scene, and there are reports on social media indicating the presence of a police helicopter overhead.
Witnesses observed an ambulance within the restricted area, with indications of medical treatment being administered. Crime Scene Investigators have since arrived at Higher Road to conduct further examinations within the secured perimeter.
