“EE Launches Data Parachute Feature in New SIM Plans”

EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the go due to increased file downloads and streaming activities. The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE now come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute,” which automatically provides users with 1GB of free data if they unexpectedly exhaust their data allowance.

According to EE, the Data Parachute feature aims to help customers stay connected by offering a temporary data boost for essential tasks like staying in touch with loved ones or using navigation apps. These new plans, starting from £10 per month, also offer additional perks such as data rollover, which carries over unused data to the next month, and free data boosts to enhance customers’ data allowances.

Additionally, EE pay-as-you-go users can enjoy access to the 5G network, delivering improved performance and faster speeds. The pricing for these new plans is as follows:

– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited

While EE’s Data Parachute sets it apart, other providers like SMARTY and Giffgaff offer competitive deals in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, while Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 and 60GB for £13 per month. It’s advisable for consumers to compare deals based on their data needs to avoid unnecessary costs.

By introducing these new plans with added benefits and data flexibility, EE aims to cater to the evolving data consumption habits of its customers effectively.
