“Beauty Retailer Beauty Bay Considers Potential Sale”

A prominent online beauty retailer is considering a potential sale as it has engaged advisors to review its operations. Beauty Bay, established in 1999 by siblings Arron and David Gabbie in Manchester, offers a wide range of products from over 200 brands, including Ariana Grande, Clinique, MAC, and its own product line.

According to a recent report from Sky News, Beauty Bay is exploring various funding options, including a potential sale of the company. Interpath, an advisory firm, is reported to be collaborating with Beauty Bay on this matter. The retailer, which currently has 65 employees, is yet to provide a comment on the situation when contacted by Mirror.

In related news, beauty brand Malin + Goetz recently entered administration, leading to the closure of all seven of its stores in London. This decision is expected to affect more than 70 jobs. Online orders for Malin + Goetz have been temporarily suspended, with a message on their website indicating a return shortly. However, customers can still purchase their products through third-party retailers like Liberty, John Lewis, and Space NK.

A spokesperson from Malin + Goetz mentioned that, after a thorough review and exploring all options, they had to make the tough decision to put their UK business into administration, resulting in store closures and job losses. Originally launched in New York in 2004 by Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz, Malin + Goetz has since expanded its product range beyond skincare to include fragrances, body care, and more.
