Andrew Tate is taking his Misfits Boxing debut seriously as he was recently spotted with a black eye. The former kickboxing world champion is gearing up to face actor-turned-boxer Chase DeMoor in Dubai on December 20 as the main event of Misfits 23. Tate’s last kickboxing match was five years ago when he defeated Cosmin Lingurar.
At 38 years old, Tate faces a challenging debut against the reigning heavyweight champion under the Misfits banner, DeMoor. DeMoor clinched the heavyweight title last year with a points victory over KELZ on the AnEsonGib vs Slim Albaher card. Despite defending the gold strap earlier this year against Tank Tolman and Natan Marcon, DeMoor faces a tough opponent in Tate.
In a recent interview with iFL TV, Tate revealed that his black eye was a result of sparring with high-profile UFC veterans as part of his rigorous training regime. The social media star, who has amassed a significant fortune, emphasized his passion for boxing and his willingness to take on new challenges.
Excited about facing DeMoor, Tate acknowledged the heavyweight champion’s size, activity, and confidence but expressed his determination to surprise everyone with his performance in the ring. The highly anticipated fight is scheduled for December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai, with the main card expected to start at 6pm UK time.
Tate is set to make his entrance around 9pm UK time, with official fight times subject to change based on the undercard duration. Broadcasting details for the event are yet to be announced, adding to the anticipation surrounding this showdown.
