A tragic incident unfolded in Sydney’s southwest as a man fell to his death from a seventh-floor balcony in the presence of police officers responding to a call from a female resident reporting a domestic violence situation. The 55-year-old man, whose identity has not been disclosed, was found perched on the balcony railing before losing his balance and falling to the ground while officers were engaging with him.

In the aftermath of the tragic event, a 46-year-old woman who was present inside the unit received medical evaluation for shock and minor injuries.
