Truck Plows Through Iran Protesters in LA

Several individuals sustained injuries following a truck crashing into a crowd of protesters against Iran in Los Angeles, leading to chaotic and panicked scenes. Video footage captured a U-Haul truck driving through a gathering of demonstrators, prompting people to scatter as the vehicle advanced. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver accelerated towards protesters carrying Iranian flags in an apparent effort to push through the assembly. The truck displayed a large banner stating, “No Shah, No Regime. USA: Don’t Repeat 1953. No Mullah.”

The incident took place during daylight on Veteran Avenue in the Westwood district, where a large group had gathered to protest against Iran’s Islamic Republic. Eyewitness Susie Shoshana recorded the event on her mobile phone, describing how she encountered the protest march after attending a nearby party. The truck eventually came to a stop and was surrounded by demonstrators, some of whom began smashing its windows as tensions escalated.

Additional footage depicted police officers pulling the driver out of the truck while onlookers screamed nearby. As the suspect was escorted away by law enforcement, some protesters attempted to physically confront him with punches and flagpoles, prompting police intervention to disperse the crowd and restore order. The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that three individuals were hurt by the truck during the incident.
