A mother of two tragically passed away after falling from a high stool in a hotel bar. Kadie Hunt, 38, fell off a bar stool at the Welbeck Manor boutique golf hotel in Sparkwell, Devon, following an afternoon of drinking with her cousin and friends. Despite initially refusing help and appearing unharmed, Kadie later became unresponsive at home and was taken to the hospital, where she succumbed to a traumatic brain injury.
An inquest revealed that Kadie, a heavy drinker, had a fatal fall after consuming multiple alcoholic drinks. CCTV footage showed her stumbling and hitting her head on a marble fireplace, leading to a fatal brain bleed. Despite the severity of her condition, Kadie’s selfless act of organ donation has since been acknowledged, saving the lives of others.
Described as a generous and loving individual, Kadie’s mother, Shirley, highlighted her daughter’s altruism even in death by donating all viable organs, including her skin. The family, alongside the community, mourned Kadie’s passing, with the Welbeck Manor expressing deep condolences and sympathy to her loved ones during this difficult time.
