Sky Unveils Revolutionary Streaming Bundle for £24/month

Sky has unveiled an exciting new update that is set to make waves in the entertainment world. The company has announced a groundbreaking subscription package that combines top-tier streaming services at a reduced monthly rate. For just £24 per month, customers, both new and existing, will gain access to a comprehensive lineup including Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app.

According to Sky, this bundled offer provides exceptional value, delivering approximately £20 worth of streaming apps for a fraction of the cost. With Sky’s current basic plan priced at £15 monthly, the additional content effectively comes at just a £9 premium.

Moreover, subscribers to the Ultimate TV plan will enjoy a vast selection of over 130 channels, featuring popular options like Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, and Sky History.

In addition to these benefits, those signed up for Sky Cinema will receive a dedicated Disney movie channel directly integrated into their planner. This feature allows viewers to enjoy Disney blockbusters without the need to access the Disney+ app separately.

Existing Disney+ subscribers can seamlessly transfer their current plan, whether Standard or Premium, to Sky while retaining their profiles and viewing history.

Sky has confirmed that all supported apps will be easily accessible from the homepage, offering fully integrated content. This integration enables users to discover shows and movies through voice search and save them to a Playlist for later viewing.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms, providing a seamless viewing experience for subscribers.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described the update as a transformative moment for Sky and NOW, uniting Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under a single subscription. She emphasized the integrated viewing experience and exceptional value for customers, highlighting that HBO Max will be included at no extra charge for NOW Entertainment subscribers.

Sky’s emphasis on innovation continues with this move, simplifying the process for viewers to access premium entertainment content in one convenient location.

The update includes the following offerings:
– Netflix Standard with Ads
– Disney+ Standard with Ads (starting from March, exact date pending)
– HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching in the UK & Ireland on March 26)
– Hayu with a selection of top shows available from March, fully launching in July
– Over 130 channels from Sky
