Tributes are flowing in for a young doctor described as “kind and helpful” who tragically passed away on Wednesday.

Dr. Grace Molloy, residing in Riddlesford, Bray, was an intern at University Hospital Galway in Galway, Ireland. She died at Beaumont Hospital following an accident, as announced on RIP.ie.

The notice honoring Dr. Molloy mentions her beloved mother Mary (McHugh) and brother Shane, along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide network of friends, neighbors, and colleagues who will deeply miss her presence.

Having completed her Bachelor of Medicine at University College Dublin (UCD) last summer, Dr. Molloy commenced her internship at University Hospital Galway (UHG) in June. Her exceptional dedication to patients and colleagues left a lasting impact during her time there, according to GalwayBeo.

Colleagues at UHG fondly remember Dr. Molloy as a compassionate and beautiful individual both inside and out. They express their sorrow and gratitude for her kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness towards everyone she encountered.

Dr. Molloy’s classmates, friends, and former schoolmates also pay heartfelt tributes, reminiscing about her joyful, kind, and lively personality that brightened the lives of those around her.

Her funeral service will take place on Thursday at the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bray, followed by burial in Redford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Beaumont Hospital Foundation and Organ Donation Ireland.
