The first victim of The Traitors UK 2024 has spoken, hours after her brutal elimination from the show just hours into the experience.
But she had a warning for her ‘killers’ so to speak, suggesting the trio were ‘doomed’ if they didn’t act quickly. Yin was savagely dropped from the BBC series on Thursday night, barely into the launch show.
Her early exit left viewers stunned, with them hoping to see her using her observational skills in the roundtables. But it wasn’t to be and Yin learned onscreen the Traitors, Minah, Linda and Armani, had chosen her as their first killing.
But Yin has warned they could be about to crash apart just days into the series after some crucial mistakes. In fact, Yin believes there is one thing only that can stop the trio from disbanding, with a possible Traitor banishment imminent.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Yin warned that the trio together were too “chaotic” and lacked the ability, currently, to work together. Yin feels it could be game over for them after too many errors and that it will take one ultimate betrayal to get them back on track, and to avoid being exposed.
She spilled: “They are too chaotic as a three, you can tell already they are not going to work together. They’ve got the wrong combination of people. As individuals they are all phenomenal but as a trio they don’t congeal.
“Armani and Minah seem close, but Linda is not very strong and she’s hiding a bit. Jake cottoned onto her, so she could be a bit more proactive about it because he was right about her. In their commentary about each other they are already criticising each other which is a bad sign, a first impression gone sour.
“There should be more respect and admiration, they should be excited to work together but Minah thinks Armani is on another team. She’s already clocked that they do not have a team, and Linda says Armani is doing too much. I can’t see them lasting for very long, that’s the honest truth.”
On a crucial error the group made for their first killing, Yin shared how the wrong person was eliminated. She explained: “They should have killed Jake. At the roundtable he kept going on about Linda, so Linda is in trouble.
“Yes, ok, you can trace his murder back to Linda maybe but that was a small group chat if anything with Jake, the point being he’s an actual threat and this proved to be true because he brought it up again at the roundtable. If he’d been murdered it wouldn’t have happened and they might have targeted me. I definitely would have been accused at the first roundtable, something about me was traitorous apparently.”
But there is still time to salvage what could be a winning team, if they do one ‘simple’ thing. With Armani’s sister Maia also a contestant, a Faithful, Yin said the team must eliminate her if they want to cover Armani’s guilt.
Yin explained: “I’ve got a simple answer, murder Maia. Minah has already planted the seeds because if Armani agrees to murder her own sister then Minah would trust her. That would help with the team and Linda would be less aggressive about her personality. I think it’s the only thing they can do as a trio to possibly survive beyond the halfway point, and if they don’t do that now they’re doomed.”
On her sad exit from the show so soon, Yin confessed she was ‘disappointed’. She told us: “I didn’t get a breakfast, or a roundtable or a proper mission with everyone involved. These are all critical ingredients in this whole experience that I missed out on so it feels disappointing.”
