A woman sought assistance on Facebook shortly before being fatally stabbed by her partner. Angela Silk, also known as Angela Goodwin, was discovered in a critical condition after being attacked by Alexander George O’Sachy in 2021. O’Sachy is facing a manslaughter sentence after admitting guilt at the Supreme Court recently. Reports indicate that Silk had come across a Facebook page documenting O’Sachy’s violent history. In her interactions on the page, Silk expressed confusion and a need for guidance. Tragically, before her death, concerns were raised about her safety as news emerged of O’Sachy being charged with her murder. The Facebook page in question was established following the death of Leanne Thompson, with whom O’Sachy was involved. O’Sachy’s troubled past includes a case involving unlawful carnal knowledge with a teenager and alleged connections to another teen’s death. Despite these incidents, O’Sachy was not prosecuted in the latter case.
