“easyJet Luxury Holidays Soar with £100,000 Trips”

Budget airline easyJet’s new luxury holiday division is experiencing significant growth, with a single trip priced at £100,000. The company has introduced a branch targeting customers willing to forego luxuries during the flight in exchange for splurging on high-end accommodations.

Garry Wilson, the head of easyJet Holidays, stated that they are receiving numerous high-end bookings weekly. The average booking for this service is £3,000, notably higher than the typical £800 cost for the airline’s other vacation packages. The most expensive booking to date amounted to £97,000 for a group of 13 individuals.

Launched in October last year, EasyJet Holidays’ Luxury Collection is expanding rapidly, offering five-star vacations tailored for travelers seeking ultra-luxurious experiences. The selection includes approximately 100 top-tier hotels, all boasting a minimum 4.5 rating on Google and Tripadvisor.

Customers opting for this luxury experience benefit from a 26kg luggage allowance, dedicated bag drop, fast-track security, expedited boarding, and pre-selected seating for a seamless airport journey. Additionally, unlike regular easyJet passengers who arrange their own transportation upon arrival, luxury travelers are provided with premium private transfers from the airline to their hotel.

Despite only being introduced in 2019, EasyJet Holidays has already amassed three million annual customers, capturing 10% of the market share. Mr. Wilson expressed the resonance of the luxury arm with customers, emphasizing the exceptional value they receive in top-tier hotels.

The luxury offering is presently exclusive to UK customers but is set for expansion to European markets next year.
