“Toronto Raptors Set to Tip-Off NBA Season at Home”

The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season with a home game for the 14th time in the last 15 years. The NBA has revealed the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, with the Raptors starting their campaign on October 21 against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena. Following this, Toronto will hit the road for their first away game against the Washington Wizards two days later.

Key home matchups to watch out for include consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on November 15 and 17. Additionally, fans can anticipate an exciting clash against Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10, and a showdown with Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10.

January is slated to be the busiest month for the Raptors, with a total of 17 games scheduled, including a six-game stretch at home. Moreover, the team will have 15 back-to-back games during the season, with seven of them requiring no travel. While 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games have been announced, the final two matchups will be determined after the group stage of the in-season NBA Cup tournament.

Notably, the Raptors have once again been excluded from the league’s prestigious Christmas Day lineup. The last time Toronto played on December 25 was in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
