Former Love Island winner Jack Fincham has revealed his struggles with alcohol and drug abuse, citing financial difficulties as a major factor. The reality TV star, who shot to fame in 2018 alongside ex-partner Dani Dyer, admitted to heavy drinking since December, emphasizing his inability to afford rehab due to his dwindling fortune post-Love Island.
In a candid interview, Jack disclosed his recent relapse into substance abuse after a period of sobriety, triggered by a night out where he was photographed kissing another woman. The 33-year-old expressed regret over his behavior, acknowledging the need for professional help despite his financial constraints.
Jack’s tumultuous journey also included legal troubles, notably a conviction for driving under the influence of drugs, resulting in a 250-hour community service order and a driving ban until 2029. Additionally, incidents involving his dog led to financial penalties and strict control measures imposed by the authorities.
Despite his challenges, Jack remains hopeful for a brighter future, admitting envy towards new Love Island contestants while expressing aspirations for career success in television once again. As he embarks on a new job as an engineer to regain stability in his life, he reflects on his past mistakes and aims for personal growth and recovery.
