A young woman, known for her kind nature, tragically passed away during a gathering in Huddersfield last summer.
At the Bradford Coroners’ Court, it was disclosed that Polly Zajdler, 29, attended a party with her boyfriend Scott on August 8. During the event, she consumed alcohol and various controlled and prescribed medications. Zajdler began to show signs of instability and was assisted by friends to her bed as a precaution, as reported by Yorkshire Live.
Scott discovered Zajdler in an unresponsive state around 5 am the following day, prompting a call for emergency assistance. Despite efforts to revive her, Zajdler did not survive.
Assistant coroner Caroline Chandler revealed that toxicology tests indicated the presence of multiple substances in Zajdler’s system, contributing to her death. Authorities confirmed no foul play in her passing, noting that other attendees at the gathering had also partaken in similar substances.
Chandler explained that the combined use of drugs and alcohol intensified sedative effects, leading to respiratory complications.
Following her untimely death, a fundraiser was initiated by Zajdler’s loved ones to assist with funeral costs. Described as a vibrant individual with a passion for music and animals, Zajdler’s warm personality and unique style endeared her to many. Her sudden demise has left a void in the lives of all who knew her.
The fundraiser highlighted Zajdler’s loving character and expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from nearly 200 contributors. The post acknowledged the attendees of her funeral service, thanking them for honoring and celebrating Zajdler’s life in a manner reflective of her spirit.
