Wing Cdr Sasha Nash has taken over as the new Officer Commanding of the Red Arrows, succeeding Wing Cdr Adam Collins. Describing it as a remarkable opportunity, Nash expressed her pride and excitement in leading the team and expressed her hope to inspire future generations of aviators from diverse backgrounds.

Her passion for aviation dates back to her childhood, where she was inspired by air shows to pursue a career in the Royal Air Force.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Nash highlighted her anticipation for the upcoming season and future plans with the Red Arrows. She paid tribute to her predecessor, Wg Cdr Collins, acknowledging his dedication and leadership during his successful tenure with the team.

Collins, who led the team through significant milestones, expressed confidence in Nash’s leadership and the team’s continued commitment to precision, excellence, and teamwork on a global scale. Reflecting on the progress made since the past challenges, Collins emphasized the importance of inclusivity and respect within the team.

The Red Arrows are gearing up for a busy season, with Nash poised to lead the team in representing the UK and engaging with audiences at airshows and events. The transition marks a significant moment in the Red Arrows’ history as they continue to inspire aviation enthusiasts worldwide.
