A cost-effective smartwatch and an economical supermarket ketchup have been recognized as top products in 2025.
Consumer group Which? diligently tested over 2,000 items to determine their quality and value. The group has now revealed its selection of the top 50 products of the year, lauding them for various reasons. Some were deemed the best in their category, while others were innovative, and a few exceeded expectations for their low prices.
Leading the lineup is the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch, priced below £63 in some locations, just a fraction of Apple’s cheapest model but offering comparable quality. Which? praised the fitness-tracking and GPS-enabled watch as a “game-changer” and awarded it five stars for user-friendliness and display quality. The review stated, “It deserves recognition for embodying high quality at an affordable price, setting a benchmark for other brands to follow.”
Ranked third on the list is Asda’s Classic Tomato Ketchup, commended for its authentic tomato flavor with a balanced sweetness that does not taste artificial. While scoring on par with the popular Heinz brand in taste tests, it is priced approximately 70% lower per 100g.
Just ahead of Asda’s £1.39 ketchup is Skoda’s Elroq electric car, the most expensive item in the top 50, priced over £30,000. Which? described the SUV as cost-effective to operate and purchase compared to its competitors, emphasizing its premium quality.
Another standout budget-friendly product is Aldi’s Magnum Premium Washing Up Liquid, securing the 10th spot in the annual ranking. Priced at 95p for a 500ml bottle, it outperformed its rival Fairy Original, scoring 73% overall satisfaction compared to Fairy’s 72%.
The remaining top 50 products span a range of categories, including electronics, cutting-edge technology, bedding, baby strollers, and gardening tools.
Harry Rose, editor of Which? Magazine, highlighted the focus on products that enhance home life in 2025. He stated, “The top-performing products this year are those that truly enrich daily living. Whether it’s an affordable TV for movie nights, a stylish turntable for music enthusiasts, or a pizza oven for gourmet homemade meals, these products not only excel in performance but also embody quality, convenience, and joy.”
