“Virgin Media to Offer Sky Atlantic for Free in April”

Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels are in for a treat next month. Sky Atlantic will be included for free, offering access to popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus without any increase in bills. The update will roll out to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers starting April 1.

To enjoy Sky Atlantic programming, customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. The content will also be available on-demand and through Virgin TV Go. David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing seamless entertainment at great value with the addition of Sky Atlantic.

Meanwhile, Sky has announced the launch of a new Ultimate TV plan that includes premium channels, Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this plan will be accessible on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described the update as marking a “new era” for Sky and NOW by bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription.

This move by Virgin Media coincides with Sky’s significant new offering, providing customers with a broader range of entertainment options.
