Samsung has unveiled a trio of new Galaxy S26 smartphones, with the standout feature in the S26 Ultra being its innovative Privacy Display technology. This new feature ensures that content on the screen disappears when not viewed directly, providing enhanced privacy to users in public settings.
The Privacy Display, a first in the mobile industry, functions by controlling pixel dispersion to maintain clear visibility for the user while limiting visibility to others. Samsung stated, “Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces the mobile industry’s first built-in Privacy Display, a breakthrough in display technology that fundamentally changes how privacy can be protected on a phone.”
In addition to the Privacy Display, the S26 Ultra boasts a sleek design, extended battery life, and is powered by the advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform from Qualcomm. The device also offers rapid charging capabilities, reaching 75% charge in just 30 minutes.
The Ultra model features an upgraded quad rear camera for improved low-light photography and enhanced video stabilization with Super Steady technology. It also includes an S Pen for note-taking directly on the 6.9-inch AMOLED screen.
Accompanying the Ultra variant are the standard S26 with a 6.3-inch screen and the larger 6.7-inch Plus version, both equipped with Samsung’s Exynos chip and triple-lens rear cameras.
All the new Samsung smartphones benefit from a Galaxy AI upgrade, enhancing smart features such as Now Nudge, which offers relevant suggestions to users for improved productivity. The devices integrate with Google Gemini for intuitive web searches.
