Samsung has officially announced that its upcoming major Unpacked event is scheduled for February 25 in San Francisco. The event will center on the debut of new Android smartphones, with the tech giant from Korea confirming that the latest Galaxy S Series devices will be revealed in Silicon Valley.
In addition to the typical enhancements in speed, camera quality, and battery life, it appears that these newest flagship phones will feature improved artificial intelligence, making them more intelligent. Samsung stated, “Prepare for a mobile experience aimed at streamlining your daily activities.”
“The incoming Galaxy S series is designed to simplify everyday tasks, instill confidence, and seamlessly integrate Galaxy AI right from the start,” Samsung elaborated.
For enthusiasts of all things Android, this event is a must-attend.
Anticipated unveilings at Unpacked will likely include the new S26 lineup, comprising a standard S26, a larger S26 Plus, and the top-tier S26 Ultra with S Pen. An update to the slim Galaxy Edge might also be showcased, although sales of the original were slow, casting doubt on the production of a new version.
The S26 models are expected to receive enhancements in performance, battery life, camera capabilities, and AI technology. There is even speculation about Samsung introducing magnetic charging akin to Apple’s MagSafe and Google’s Pixel Snap technology.
Mirror Online will cover the event live, bringing you real-time updates.
