In a haunted pub in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, a pint of beer mysteriously slid off a table, captured on CCTV as it happened. The eerie incident occurred at The Lattice House Bar, a historical establishment dating back to the 1400s reportedly inhabited by multiple ghosts.
New landlord Perry Sturge, who took over just six months ago, shared that locals were not surprised by the paranormal activity. He mentioned receiving numerous accounts from regular patrons about strange occurrences within the old building, believed to be haunted. An upcoming investigation with a local paranormal group is scheduled for the end of January.
The Lattice House holds historical significance, with a tragic event documented in 1648 when parish clerk Lewis Salter was found strangled within its walls under mysterious circumstances.
Local residents have recounted experiencing unexplained phenomena in the pub, such as moving objects, flickering candle flames, and the sensation of being watched when alone. In 1988, a local vicar conducted an exorcism at the site following reports of unsettling encounters.
Reports of physical contact with invisible entities have surfaced, including a customer who described feeling hands on her shoulders and back, resulting in unexplained bruises. Similar encounters have been reported by others visiting the pub.
